It is hard for me to see how a building that is currently abandoned - with or without squatters - meets criteria. I would need proof that this is being preserved to accept it as an historic building. If this becomes a community center, it would be an easy accept for me.
Sometimes the rejection reasons don’t exactly fit, so I try to see what they could have been thinking to pick that.

Honestly, appeal rejection reasons often don’t make sense and Niantic is not likely to clarify…based on lots of similar posts.
And your question was “what’s the adviced (sic) next step?”
I think the advice is it doesn’t appear to meet any eligibility criteria so, just drop it would be what is advised.

I hate that the OP chose to remove this post. I have seen other people post at the beginning that they do not want answers except from Niantic. I was not offended by that part. I just hate that I misunderstood the “wanting advice” part.

Thanks for posting a query about a failed appeal. It is rare, but sometimes the Wayfarer team will review the rejection.
The normal steps are
Post the full nomination please, the photos and the text as a cut and paste so we can translate.
We can then see if this was something where a mistake has been made or if it was reasonable to conclude rejection under PRP.
We may be able to draw attention to something that was previously not obvious, and help your case.
