I would like to request a review of my 30-day suspension related to a Wayfarer nomination/appeal flagged for a malicious or third-party image. This action also resulted in a 30-day suspension on my Pokémon GO account.
I respectfully ask for a reassessment of the case and any possible reconsideration.

Sorry it is not for a better reason.
The only way staff would consider reconsidering is if you believe that the suspension reason was not correct.
You need to gather any evidence you have to show that the reason you got the suspension is incorrect.

Was it a photo you took?
I have received an official email stating that my Wayfarer nomination was flagged for using images copied from Google Maps, and my account received a 30-day suspension affecting Wayfarer and Pokémon GO.
I would like to understand if this case can be reviewed further or if the decision is final. I am willing to cooperate and follow all guidelines going forward.
I suppose the answer to this is that it depends on whether you did use photos taken from Google Maps?
Using 3rd party photos is a big no due to possible copyright problems.
If you didn’t take other peoples photos then an appeal is correct otherwise it’s a case of sitting out the 30 days, learn from the mistake then come back knowing more.

I would like to clarify that the image used in my Wayfarer nomination was taken by me using my own device at the location. It was not copied from Google Maps or any third-party source.
I still have the original photo on my device and can provide details such as capture time and device information if needed for verification.
I respectfully request a review of my case based on this information.

Did you upload the same image elsewhere such as Google Maps?
The problem is that reviewers / staff can not determine whether it is the same person uploading to both or someone downloading someone else’s photo and pretending it is theirs.
This is why the recommendation is to always take extra photos and don’t upload the ones used for wayfarer anywhere else.
Hopefully Oren’s DM will explain in more detail what the reason was and hopefully it will give you an opportunity to show evidence.
