In the mean while you can go outside and find more to nominate to make use of your upgrade 
Maybe your POI become a gym in future or you meet others while you’re out and about and you can build a new wayfarer community

Games are not mutually exclusive, it’s not a tradeoff. As Alice said, it’s just that Pokémon GO populates its map with regular syncs and not immediately after approval. Your wayspot should be eligible for Pokémon GO. Give it time. And well done on the approval 
IK that the syncs after some time but i sent that message because it was showing that it is a waystop in another game so i said that maybe after it syncs it will show as a pokestop instead of a waystop in another game, ty for ur sugestion

Your lv14 cell is still empty. I dont know if your cell have import or no but i see its empty in ingress. Which mean it have many potential wayspot to turn into pokestop/gym.
If it becomes a gym i will be the happiest person in this world, imagine having a home gym.
