I have been trying to get some nominations in my families neighborhood. We have some young players that would love to have some stops closer by, so they can visit them while riding bikes or during training runs, giving even more reasons to be outside and moving. There are a lot of people that use this neighbor for training to run marathons or making sure their dogs get plenty of walking time.
Right now people are required to drive places to get some stops in and continue progressing in the game. My goal would be to get them some local stops to help keep them going and progressing every day. I would like to keep the momentum, that they have bulit going, and see them be able to keep having fun with it.
I am only visiting for a small amount of time here and there, so any information on getting some stops approved would be greatly appreciated.

You need to wait until the images finish uploading as we can’t see a few of them. It’s great you’re trying to help out but be aware that the locations need to be nominated because they’re either a great place to be social, a great place to exercise or a great place to explore, not something that’s just nearby.
Looking up the street names on those signs, there may not be anything in this neighborhood to point you to. Anything that is Single Family Private Residential Property (SFPRP) is not eligible. I don’t see any common areas for this community where you might find something to submit. Often neighborhoods around here (Cary, NC) will have pools, playgrounds, dog parks, etc. that can be submitted, but I don’t see anything like that to recommend.
That’s the trouble I am running into, as the area is lacking in any other public accessible items to suggest, and so I am suggesting just about anything and everything
Please make sure you are submitting things that you can make a case for meeting criteria. We have seen warnings issued for spamming ineligible nominations.
This is a community created document that may help with suggestions of thing to look for nearby, but you are most likely not going to find anything in that neighborhood.
The Wayfarer criteria is a great place to exercise, explore, or be social.
It is a lot of fun to go find eligible things and submit them. It is very frustrating to try to find something eligible where you would like to have a Pokestop.
There is very little to submit here. the USGS benchmarker map might help a little. See if you can find any. Also the town sign for Ulla is eligible but it may become only a powerspot instead of a pokestop.
Like the others I had a good look at this area and it looks a lovely housing estate.
As someone who likes to go out and not use a car I totally get the desire to have game places on your doorstep as it were.
Unfortunately it appears that when planning this lovely area little account was taken that people would want to do that. There is even a lack of pavements to walk on, parks to play in and communal spaces to gather in. Sadly this is often due to builders maximising the profits to be made by selling individual plots rather than leaving some land for the community as a whole.
If you could identify space that is communal and not someones individual property then you could try to see if some things could be placed there that could meet criteria and hence be in the game.
If that is not possible then you have to recognise that most things you do are going to start with getting in a car and going somewhere. And that this will apply to Pokémon Go too. I would identify where these places are and try to use wayfarer to submit objects there so that going to those places becomes a richer and more enjoyable game experience.
The community here will be happy to help plan, a craft nominations that are likely to be successful.
