I recently had a new wayspot accepted, however it wasn’t added into pokemon go, yet I believe it caused the power spot close by to disappear. I didn’t think this would happened since the new wayspot wasn’t even added into the game, but I wanted to ask if anyone knew this to be the case for sure, or if the power spot just rotated like they sometimes do. Any help would be appreciated!
Also, if this is the case, would removing the newly added wayspot bring the old power spot back?

Power Spots rotate. Unless your new Wayspot became a Pokestop or gym, it won’t affect the use of the other Wayspot as a Power Spot or not. Which eligible Wayspots are chosen to be used as Power Spots seems to be random. The community is still researching this feature.
Also, you can’t just ask for the removal of a Wayspot because it had an unintended consequence. It must meet removal criteria.
