Good day, please help me with this one. So 14.857672, 120.811767, was approved for more than a week now. Hopefully it be added to the game, it is a better candidate as submission for better community engagement on this area, where players usually meet near the shopping mall, food court, and public transportation area. Thank you.
Hello and Welcome @MVPChico
Pokémon Go has selection rules designed to help spread out pokestops and gyms.
This is a a bit technical but it explains it
https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
All of this information comes from community observations.
Essentially you can only have 1 pokestop or gym in an area called a cell
This is a picture of where you submitted.
The red box is the cell.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but unfortunately there is already a pokestop in that cell so your submission can’t become a pokestop. It also looks as though it can’t be a power spot either.
I appreciate that this will be frustrating.
I would advise that you read the article above as a first step.
Ohhh, thanks what a bummer. I thought the other one is on the right side cell, didn’t know that it is on the same cell of the newly approved one, someone must’ve move it, thank you.
Question, can I use the cell plug in on my phone without an issue? I haven’t tried it yet.
I believe its fine although some have to work through issues around browsers etc.
And that is the limit of my knowledge
Good luck
Thank you, more power
I have a similar issue with my approved spot. Where do I find how the cells look like for me?
Welcome to the forum @IvandeOrange
You can use your favourite internet search engine to look for Wayfarer Tools. We’re not allowed to link to them directly.
Alternatively, as it seems to be a specific location you want to check, if you provide the name and coordinates of the wayspot, someone with those tools already installed can help show you what’s going on.
Yes, there are several things in this cell:
Casal de Barri Espai Antoni Miró Peris 41.412925,2.184566 is the Pokestop for it.
It does look eligible to become a Power Spot in the future based on the distance, but we are not exactly certain how those are chosen.
I think you are familiar with this concept from your post, but if not, see: Why an accepted Wayspot may not be used in Pokemon Go (S2 cells and Pokemon Go)
