Nomination rejection appeal

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Antigua Embajada Británica

  • Location (lat/lon): 11.014975, -74.816303

  • City: Barranquilla

  • Country: Colombia

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email:

  • Additional Information (if any): Rejection reason was the automated message, can’t see it anymore because I submitted an appeal request

Kinda frustrated on the approval process but I guess that how this works so far so, anyways;
I’m sure this is a valid wayspot, its an unique architecture which does not need access to private property to explore, there are stores and a park nearby, which can work to expand on many routes for exercise, its a safe zone. i’ve read the ML model makes mistakes, I tried doing one same nomination for the same location before and I admit I overlooked using photos that are not my property, so I took pictures of my own property and still got rejected, I made the appeal request but im not sure if I’'ll ever get any response that way so I am trying everywhere I can. If there’s anything wrong or incorrect, knowing it too helps a lot as well, anyways, I’ll wait for any response.

Hello and Welcome,

Is this now Single Family Private Residence Property (SFPRP), if so it is not eligible.

What is “close” to the waypoint makes no difference. The waypoint has to be eligible in itself.

This is true but the majority of the time the rejections are due to something the nominator did, didn’t do or could improve.

If you would like advice please post the full details, Description, Supplemental etc.

Good Luck.

Welcome to the forum :slight_smile:

From streetview, this definitely looks like single-family private residential property (SFPRP). Anything on SFPRP is strictly ineligible due to the location and there are no circumstances under which this can be bypassed.
