It is a pleasure to greet you, I would like to leave the following debate here and be able to know the opinion of the community regarding the situation of these portals.
They are located within a military training facility, an academy to be more exact. The point is that access to said institution is quite limited if you are not an official, teacher, student/applicant or an active military member deployed in said position. The access possibilities are quite limited if you are not known or related to a student at said academy (in my particular case I do not have any friends or relatives who are currently studying there).
Which leaves the access options for third parties quite limited only in the case of celebrating an activity such as the founding of said academy or by allowing access to the area used for sports activities (which in my case I was able to access many years ago). years ago through my private school that organized some activities for us related to our sports competition at that time) but this means that only some places are allowed access and other points of the preview are prohibited to visitors, thus limiting the capacity of move in said place and not allowing you to reach the portals that are in the academy.
Something to leave as an observation on the portal named airplane capiatá. It is also clearly poorly located from its corresponding real location, since it is located near the main building (the model plane) but the portal is located above the main access gate.
You can report a location correction that you can’t do in game to help chat Niantic Wayfarer with evidence. I don’t understand the problem, but my reading vision isn’t great.
In fact, it is a place of study for older people, not for minors. It does not obstruct emergency services either, I would classify it more as a place where pedestrian accessibility is quite reduced, limited or almost non-existent. Because if you are not a civil servant or a student of that academy, there are few opportunities to be able to enter and the places allowed to the public are quite limited as well.
Anything at a military location, such as a base or academy for those 18+, isn’t per say off limits, even with it possibly being restricted to a subset of people. The issue would be if the Wayspot obstructs the operations of the military. Both of these points are outlined in the tooltip while reviewing:
The students and staff at this academy may be able to play at the Wayspots during breaks, when class isn’t in session, etc.
While I don’t live near any of these in the US, such as the US Naval Academy or US Air Force Academy, they are more like universities/colleges, not K-12 schools.
How about drop your drone there for the unique visits?
Military bases often have family housing, and an officers’ club that hosts events that civilians visit. Or a veteran’s park, or museum that’s open to the public. Those areas are fine for Wayspots.
If you think this area is sensitive, check its website for if it says so explicitly, and include that in your report.
When PokemonGo was new, some military commanders asked for some PokeStops to be removed from some bases. I don’t know if Niantic built geoblocks around those areas, or of new stuff has replaced what was removed. Commanders can still ask for removal. And Niantic has its “secret sauce”.
hahahahah. That’s funny, okno. Well, actually that was my question, as you said above, maybe some student plays pokemon go in there (because most of the existing wayposts are without names) So he must have created them in his free time.
