The gym in question is called Double Heart Mural, Belgrade - Savski Venac district.
The mural was removed about a year and a half ago as the tattoo place that had it painted shut down and a new one with a different aesthetic opened in its place.
Another important thing is the fact the spot was misplaced due to the S17 cell it is actually in having a pokestop in it already. I bring that up because this made it so all the gyms in this S14 cell are in the two southern corners (might not have been the case if this POI was placed correctly).
I don’t know what the process for retiring POIs is nor do I know if it’s different for gyms (I’m guessing having pokemon in these gyms makes it more difficult?).

I’ve reported this on wayfarer maps and am yet to get any info on it but I feel the POI should be retired. I’m new to the forum and any mistakes are unintentional so feel free to correct me

I am sorry but when you put in photo, its better to put yourself from foreigner point of view. I have no idea what to look from your photo. It would make it easier to check if you take photo from same angle or you can circle the object

Anyway it seems you are trying to report wayspot removal because its gone. You can do so from the the game.
Yeah, sorry about that. The POI is/was this skull mural thing. I can’t really get a better angle photo because the google maps image is from a car and I can’t really get into traffic for the same angle.
This is the POI you should recognise it in the original picture now as well 
The dark part is painted over now, you can see the difference in the concrete flower pot thing in front of the image.
I am trying to get it removed because it’s no longer there but is still in the game.
Have you report ingame?
The correct procedure is to report it ingame 1st. You can come here to appeal if it got rejected
Aha, I reported it on Niantic Wayfarer site first. Should I report it in game now & should I keep this discussion up?
Reporting in-game and using the Report button on the wayfarer map are equivalent.
I think @TjoeMi meant you can’t legitimately make an appeal here to get a wayspot removed unless you have first reported in-game or using the map, and that report was rejected.
If this is the case, you need to post a screenshot of the removal rejection email.
Update: the report I made went through about an hour ago!
