Can anyone check whether something is already within this s2 cell? 43.771020, -79.284933 These are the coordinates for the new pokestops

Glamorgan BBQ Area is alone in an L17 S2 cell, so should appear as a Pokestop or gym when it syncs in. Either the game or the map hasn’t synced yet since it was accepted, if you are only checking on the map. How long ago did you get the acceptance email?

Are you checking in person or on the map? We should have had game sync, but idk exactly when the map syncs yet.

I checked both map and the game but it shows “community contributed” and not in game yet but it showed that today morning.
Check again in about 22-23 hours to see if it syncs in tomorrow. Nothing to worry about yet, and the email does say “may take up to 48 hours to appear”.
If you checked in person this morning, that may have been before sync time. If it isn’t too much trouble, you may want to check again in game. In game sync usually happens around an hour and a half ago.

I am so bad with time zones, but pogo in game sync usually happens around 2:30 pm EST for me, give or take a half an hour.
So i should expect it to be in game tomorrow or so because its past 2:30 est yeah?
I was trying to say there is a window around that time when new and eligible wayspots are promoted to pokestops or gyms. You don’t need to keep refreshing and checking outside that window. If you have checked in game today since that window, you don’t really need to keep checking until tomorrow’s sync window.

Have just seen other reports of Wayspots excepted to become Pokestops at yesterday’s sync not appearing in game. It could be that there was just a delayed sync issue. That used to happen way more often than it does now. Please do let us know whether it syncs in today or not.
I iust checked a bit after the sync, the pokestop has still not appeared.
it is still a bit early. i wouldn’t give up hope on sync today until after the hour.
(sync has been observed to roll out instead of happening all at once.)

It should have synced in today if it were going to at the usual time. They may have to do a manual sync, and it is the weekend, so I don’t think there is any point in checking back before Monday’s sync. Let us know if you see it then, please.

I have much clearer example for delay now, as there is empty cells all around approved waypoint and it has been 48 hours already.
Seems like timing is in business days, as it was approved on Friday but havent yet flown into game.

one of our german players hast ask last night if there way no sync, so his waydpot is also not in game. happens also with mine. so it seems there was no sync the last days

Might be the case as my nomination was approved close to 8pm on friday. It still hasn’t come to assuming it should come tomorrow.
