Poke stop and game issue

I’m very disappointed about the way things are handled honestly it’s frustrating to nominate so many spots for pokestop and not get approved even one spot considering that there are 0 poke stops here and I nominated normal stops that are all over the city and got approved but apparently mine is no good not to mention that the game doesn’t work properly the last few days I did battle in electric cup it’s full of bugs the shield is not appearing or my charger attack is full the the other player is using it it’s such a mess I lost so many times because of that and it’s a problem with the special as well where I have tasks to collect max particles and I did and the task just stayed like that and it’s been like that for weeks now so you should take care of this and pay attention to what’s happening because this is a total mess honestly

Hello @linamada91

Welcome to the wayfarer community, glad to have you here.

Before I respond to your message let me quickly say this.

This is about Pokemon Go itself and these issues are not relevant here.

Let’s tall about the relevant part of your message now.

It is frustrating to see rejections come in on wayspots you worked so hard for. And we understand your frustration, we are to help you.

There being 0 pokestops in your area makes it indeed more disappointing, but no matter what the same rules apply for all nominarioms. Furthermore please don’t compare your nomimations with the ones in-game. These spots could be wronhfully accepted and give you a false impresiom of is acceptable.

Always stick to the current criteria (linked at the bottom of my comment.)

If you would.to post screenshots of your rejected nominations we can try to improve the nomination with you.

There are also lots of people here that can suggest good spots to nomimate if you give us a general location in your area.

Please ask if there more questions.

Good luck

In general, what AMG7070 describes is exactly what Wayfarer expects from contributors.

That said, there is one important point to keep in mind: Pokémon GO, operated by Niantic/Scopely, is fundamentally different from traditional Pokémon games. Understanding this distinction is essential.

Since John Hanke stepped away from Pokémon GO last year, the game may gradually move closer to the style of the mainline Pokémon series. However, Pokémon GO has always been designed as a game to be enjoyed in the real world, not as a couch‑based game. Because of this, all in‑game locations are inherently influenced by the real‑world environment.

In truly rural areas, there may be nothing but forests, rivers, lakes, farmland, and a few isolated houses. In such places, Pokémon may spawn, but there will naturally be no pokestops. Some may feel this is unfair, but this is part of the core identity of Pokémon GO—and one of the reasons it has remained more long‑lasting and commercially successful than any other Pokémon title.

If this fundamental design philosophy is difficult to accept, then stepping away from Pokémon GO may ultimately provide a more peaceful experience for your own well‑being.
