Hola a todos!!!, hace ya tiempo que las pokeparadas de mi universidad no se actualizan, algunas posiciones son algo obsoletas e incluso han cambiado de ubicación!!!, y uno de los problemas más grandes es que el único gymnasio está alejado de todo y nadie lo usa, ¿hay alguna forma de pedir que cambien las ubicaciones o el gimnasio a una pokeparada que si se usa comúnmente?, disculpen si la pregunta es boba.
Hey everyone! It’s been a while since the PokéStops at my university were updated. Some of them are pretty outdated, and a few have even changed locations in real life. The biggest issue is that our only Gym is way out of the way, so nobody ever uses it. Is there any way to request a location change, or perhaps turn a more popular, frequently used PokéStop into a Gym instead? Sorry if this is a silly question!

No se puede cambiar gimnasios en paradas, no es algo que se puede pedirlo
Gym creation is random to be fair. And just because its out of the way for you, doesnt mean nobody use it . Someone could be using it in future.

Sure! The location is “Universidad Tecnológica De Durango”(UTD).
Here are the details:
Main PokéStop (23.990359, -104.617385): This is the main PokéStop on campus. I feel this one would be the best candidate to become a Gym because it’s in the highest traffic area where most students hang out.
Outdated PokéStop (23.991110, -104.618400):
This PokéStop was physically moved in real life :p. I already reported it to Niantic, but I’m not sure if they will actually move it to its new position.
Current Gym (23.991896, -104.613740):
As you can see, it’s quite far from the actual campus buildings. Since it’s so isolated from the main buildings and classrooms, nobody really goes there to do raids or leave their Pokémon :p.
Also, I’ve noticed that some other people have submitted contributions/nominations around campus. I think they are good candidates, but the information provided seems a bit limited, which is probably why they haven’t been approved yet. Is there any way for me to add support data or info to nominations that weren’t made by me?

This is not acknowledged by Niantic, but per community observation, gyms are based on Level 14 S2 cells. You can read more about that here: https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
The number in the middle of the L14 cell indicates how many more pokestop eligible wayspots you need to add to get another gym.
The Wayfarer Map does not show sponsored gyms, so if you have any of those, these numbers may be off. Does this visual help?
There is no pathway to request a change to which Wayspot is used as a gym.

One will become a gym. It could be the new one or any of the existing pokestops.
