Hey guys i posted a pokestop recommendation months ago and havent heard anything… does anyone know the estimated time of hearing back?

There is no standard time. The “automated process” can reject a nomination around 24 hours after submitting, and Niantic seems to pull nominations that have not been decided after several months into internal review for a decision. So somewhere between those times.
You can check on the status of your contribution on your Contributions tab at https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/nominations

How did you submit it?
I have two nominations: one for a playground at a church and one for a mural at a shop. They are clearly good nominations, but they’ve been invoting for three weeks.

This could be for several reasons…
- The amount of Reviewers in your area (we are not told how many votes are required, but if there are not enough reviewers in your area it can take a while. If it stays there too long then it can be taken in to Staff Review (the last time this was estimated it seemed to be around 3 months).
- Your nomination is not as straight forward as you think and many reviewers are deciding to skip. Suggest you create your own post and show all the info including the location. People will advise.
- There are other nominations in the same area. These have been seen to be held back until others in the same location have completed to stop duplicates.
I always state what I have seen on the forums from Wayfarers that have made nominations for many years before me that it used to be common for it to take 2 years. Three weeks no longer feels that long
