I have been getting denied for weeks yet the hotels next door now have 4 you can hit all day standing in one spot how is this fair?
What have you been submitting and what do those represent? Wayfarer has criteria. It is possible that what you have submitted doesnât meet the criteria.
Those 4 are a pool. An outdoor patio. A fire pit on the patio and a gym. All the same things Iâve been trying to do at the 4 properties around me for weeks
In your post, what do you mean by âpropertiesâ?
A pool at a public hotel may be acceptable. A pool in the garden of a private house is not.
âPropertiesâ as In individual public hotels in the area. Yes.
Hello,
First, ignore what is already on the map. There is multiple reasons why similar locations can be approved and this should never be used as confirmation what now meets criteria.
If you would like help / advice with your nomination please post the details. Photos / Title / Description / Supplemental and Location.
Good Luck.
We have to see how you have nominated them. People make mistakes on eligible items all the time. You probably arenât even aware of what youâre doing wrong to get them rejected.
That is not what I said.
You have not given any details of your nominations so I donât know how you expect us to advise.
There is many reasons why similar nominations will get different results. Think âLittle Free Libraryâ, an easy accept if in a public space, attach it to SFPRP and itâs a Reject.
We want to help but to do that we need you to show the details.
My Suggestion would be to post the details of 1 of your Rejections and we can advise, after that you may not have to post the others.
We might be able to advise on changes that will get it to be Accepted but you have to accept that the answer might be âCorrectly Rejected becauseâ.
Alternatively start a new thread, post your general location (DO NOT USE YOUR HOME ADDRESS) and people will scour the maps and make suggestions.
Good Luck.
Even if you are nominating similar things into the game, the title, description, photo, and location accuracy will all play into the decision.
Plenty of perfectly valid spots get rejected because the submitter doesnât take the time to write a legible title and/or description. Some of them get rejected because the photo is blurry, titled sideways, or has the submitterâs car mirror showing in the picture.
Showing a map does nothing when determining why something was rejected unless itâs truly in a location that isnât eligible like someoneâs single private residence or in the middle of a street. Please share screenshots of your nominations including the title, description, photo, and the rejection reason in the email you received. Does that make sense?
In order to be accepted, a wayspot has to not fail any of the rejection criteria
- it has to be safely accessible to pedestrians
- it canât be on school grounds, single-family private residential property, farmland
- it has to exist at the location given
- it has to have a reasonably accurate title and description
- the photo cannot contain licence plates, identifiable people, unnecessary animals
It also has to meet one of the key criteria - Exploration, Exercise, Social
A submission can be for something eligible, but have problems (bad photos, bad description etc), meaning it gets rejected.
A submission can be put together perfectly, but be for something not eligible, meaning it gets rejected.
