To answer your question, you are not allowed to canvas for votes. So you shouldn’t ask. Make sure that what you have written in the text of your nomination also doesn’t ask the reviewers to vote positively. That would be classed as trying to influence reviewers which is a reason to reject.
Those that review are not told who submitted the nomination. They are also expected to review by the criteria guidelines and assess each against those and not take any account of who might have submitted.
