Porque me rechazan las pokeparadas? / Why are the PokéStops rejecting me?

van varias veces que intento poner una pokeparadaen un negocio local y en una iglesia, pero siempre me las rechazan, alguien sabe porque? me parece buen punto de reunion y siempre ahy gente a los alrededores /////

I’ve tried several times to set up a PokéStop at a local business and a church, but they’re always rejected. Does anyone know why? It seems like a good meeting point, and there are always people around.

Please provide:

  • A screenshot of your nomination, including rejection reasons if it has already been rejected
  • Include the title, description, both photos, and supplemental information
  • Copy and paste the title, description and supplemental so others can translate them
  • If you feel comfortable please share the location, as it is helpful (i.e. hidden duplicates), but you can mask it if you wish.

Hola, and welcome to the forums. You can type in whatever language is easier for you, the forum has a translation feature.

Can we see a screenshot, including the rejection reasons, the title, description, both photos, and supplemental information? If the nom’s in Spanish, it would help us if you copy and paste the title, description and supplemental as well.

And if you feel comfortable sharing your location, we can poke around for hidden duplicates and other potential eligible spaces.

of curse, here.

in google appears “Papeleria Aeris”

this too, 25.667833947680347, -100.15909255178568 its a church

Both places are very busy; they even play and trade Pokémon with locals and customers.

thank you very much

If you have that watermark on the main photo, that is a rejection reason.

It would help to see screenshots of the contribution itself from your contributions page:

I would reject both of those for being temporary.

A church should be eligible, but a vinyl banner is a bad picture for it.

The scissors art piece is really hard to judge without context. Seeing that picture, I don’t know if it’s lying on the ground somewhere, hanging on a wall, how big it is…the supporting picture would make or break the nom for me.

ok, i quit the watermark, thanks,

Okay, so these look to be ML rejections, which were not seen by actual people.

In the case of the papelaria, I’m going to suggest nominating the scissors and pencil sign as artwork, because it’s unlikely that you’ll make the case for the store being a good place to socialize, exercise or explore, but the artwork is pretty cool by itself.

I would try this again without the watermark. You can take your photos first, and check them in your phone’s gallery, then choose the “use existing photo” when you make the nomination.

If the hanging sign is the only one they have, then you may use that to submit the church. Be sure that your supporting photo shows the sign in place. Check Street View on Maps to see if the church can be seen there. If you need more than one supporting photo to prove where this is, you can use Web Submit at https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/submit instead of submitting in game. If you have evidence that the church is permanently meeting there, you can provide links to that in your supporting statement.

If this is the supporting photo you used, I don’t see the sign. That should be included in the photo along with enough other identifiable things that people can compare to Maps to feel confident it is there.
