I have come across some nominations that I believe never should have been approved. I’m debating whether I should even waste my time reporting these nominations. These screenshots are from Pokémon Go
IMO, these are just awful and really never should have been approved. I feel like the integrity of voting for Good POIs is just non-existent in this area. Should I request to have them removed or am I wasting my time?
Also, please do tell me if I’m wrong. How district court qualifies for “a place where people gather” and overrides “sensitive location” or how a car dealership & warehouse aren’t just “generic Businesses”.
I agree tgat a court is a place I would consider a sensitive location. You could certainly report it making the case as to why it is sensitive.
I think the others unfortunately are just poor nominations that are unlikely to meet removal criteria. You can try and make a case - don’t just say poor quality POI.
Criteria seems to be all over the board. Like you I see locations all the time that makes me scratch my head. How and why did this get approved. Then I’ll submit a really fun one or a truly historical spot and get rejected! I’m Very careful in my submissions and only submit things that I think others will enjoy too. I try to take very cool photos so it’ll make a great gift, then get rejected! Super frustrating
Wayfarer is run by community. Just like people in real life society, there is always various type of people. Wayfarer are relying on people to review nomination. In some case certain community who want more wayspot might not follow wayfarer criteria when they are reviewing. When this incorrectly approved wayspot appear, other wayfarer can report them for removal. Let niantic decide.
