Possible Geo-Block Zone?

I just had a way spot accepted and was waiting for it to pop up in Pokemon Go since there is no other stop in the S17 cell. However, I think there may be a geo block on the cell if someone could check for me. The coordinates are 29.867819, -90.048516

I have taken a look at the coordinates provided and there should indeed be no problem of this appearing in-game.

How long has it been since the acceptance.

The email stating the acceptance does also tell you that it may take up to 48 hours to appear. If it has been 48 hours, yes there might be a possible geoblock on the location which staff can confirm.

I believe @AMG7070 checked the cell for you and responded accordingly. But I want to caution that only a Niantic employee can confirm if an area is geofenced or not.

It will be 48 hours in about 2 and half hours. The stop has appeared on the wayfarer website map as not in game so I’m guessing that it is probably geo blocked. I won’t be able to go over there until tomorrow, so I’ll give an update sometime tomorrow.

it is still about an hour until the earliest time for today’s sync, so check back in in a couple of hours to let us know if it shows or not. you could have just had unlucky cutoff timing :crossed_fingers:

That is is live as a Pokestop. The map does not confirm that yet.

I honestly wish y’all would confirm that neighborhood signs are eligible, so I can go submit the 100 or so I can walk to here. But you haven’t, and I don’t think they meet criteria. So I won’t. Yet.
