Not entirely certain this is the best spot for this but here goes…
So I was looking into nominating a baseball field in pogo and noticed in Ingress that there were waypoints already existing for it and several other things at a church. I thought, that’s too bad the church probably requested they be removed, then I noticed two additional waypoints that are associated with an adjacent business property. These waypoints also don’t appear in pogo. Granted, as I’m looking into the stops, one appears to be in the wrong location on the church’s property. Anywho, the question/bug is, can the stops be checked to see if they can appear in pogo?
The waypoints are:
Waypoint title: Linnemann Ollas
Location: 31.080513, -97.722157
(actual location 31.0802409, -97.7222894)
Killeen, TX
United States
Waypoint title: Linnemann Lighthouse
Location: 31.080201, -97.722336
Killeen, TX
United States
If it appear in ingress and its been 48 hours after submission, it should appear in pogo too. Unless some geoblock is in place. There is not much you can do about geoblock unless you can make property owner remove it him/herself
This is not a submission not appearing/sync issue. These have been here quite awhile if the waypoint image resolution is any indication.
I’m asking if (Assuming it is a geoblock) that the area covered be checked if possible as it appears to extend beyond the church property
@SpindaHuntr is aware of how this all works and is asking if this is what is happening. There have been cases on the forum where Niantic has had to do something “on the backend” to make game locations appear. Example:
Thanks. Is the provided info enough to see that the waypoints are located on the property adjacent to what I assume is the geoblocked property? Is it just too close?
