It’s weird to me that the nominator claims it is a “boundary trail marker”. Either it’s a boundary stone or a trail marker. As you say, it’s an old piece of engineering infrastructure. If it had a royal cypher on it, then I’d be more generous with it, because many of the old cast Iron GPO marker posts do, but this is just a boring slab of concrete.
