I’m a Wayfarer reviewer from El Salvador, but I keep receiving nominations from Guatemala even though my Hometown and Bonus Location are both set correctly inside El Salvador.
I’ve verified my IP and GPS locations, cleared cache, and confirmed I’m not using any VPN. However, the review system continues assigning me nominations from Guatemala.
It seems my account might be linked to a review cell (S2 cell) that overlaps the Guatemalan region. Could you please check and adjust my review region so I can receive nominations from El Salvador instead?
The same for me in Estonia, I occassionally get nominations to review from Finland, Russia or Latvia, the neighbouring countries. I do not see this as a problem though, I am glad to review the nominations from Finland or Latvia. It seems that this happens only when there are simply no more Estonian nominations to receive.
That’s normal. You get to see submissions in places within a certain radius from you. It’s a pretty big radius. I’m in the Netherlands but back when I still did reviews, I’d often see ones from Belgium, western Germany, and sometimes even northern France and south-eastern England.
Hi, I’m afraid this is not a bug but working very much as intended.
Review areas are large by design, and we will not receive only nominations close to us but a pretty broad range, again by design. Are you not comfortable reviewing these, or just wondering?
