I think nominations accepted include all nominations accepted, not just those that have become stops/gyms in PoGo. New wayspots most likely are those that are being used as stops/gyms/Power Spots in PoGo.
Youâre right- Iâve worded that wrong. How annoying. I do indeed mean to ask whether Power Spots feature in the âNew Wayspotsâ category.

Tintino is always talking about âaccepted nominationsâ, âwayspotsâ and â⊠made it into pokemon goâŠâ.
An accepted wayspot/nomination can become everything: pokestop, gym, powespot or database only
âMade it into the gameâ need to be interactable.

Thanks for the reply Alice. Your second quote makes sense to me but doesnât answer the question. A nomination made one month but accepted the next would naturally be a tally on the second monthâs âNominations Acceptedâ stat. If it met the inclusion rules for a spinner or a gym, the next sync it would also then add to the âNew Wayspotsâ stat. But Power spots are not synced until the 4th or 5th of the month. What Iâm asking is say hypothetically I nominated one in August, it was accepted in September (after 5th), could not become a spinner but in October it became a Power spot, and I made no other nominations, would my November email list my âNew Wayspotsâ as 1 or not?
The one number counts accepted wayspots. So the timestamp of when you received the âcongratulationsâ email.
Would made for your example:
nom: Aug., accept: Sep. â recognition email Oct. (containing the whole Sep.).
âSpinnersâ can only count if theyâre interaction points ingame (see first quote).
Would make for your example of a powerspot:
accept: >4th Sep, synched into game: 4th Oct., usable the whole Oct â recognition email Nov. (containing the whole Oct.).

It does make sense thank you. Iâm only really asking this as a significant number of the shortfall of Accepted that didnât make it as âNew Wayspotsâ in my October email I have tracked as now spawning as Power Spots and I want the November email to recognise them.
Yes, please look at your Nov. email and if something is wrong report it here. That has been the first email of that sort and I wouldnât be surprised if some little errors could be included.

The recognition email will come from niantic@email.nianticlabs.com, so since it will be coming soon, make sure to have this address added to your address book and/or safe senders list.
Another tip is to make sure that your inbox isnât full, as could cause the email to not be delivered. If you need to, go through your emails and delete any you no longer need to free up space.

Any word on when we should expect our next âmonthly impactâ emails? Will they be sent on the same day each month? The first was sent on Friday, October 3rd. November 3rd came and went, so maybe the first Friday?

That could cause problems May 2026 when the 1st is a Friday.

Looks like the waiting is over!
Nothing yet for me, and I have the email address in my address book, and just cleared out a good deal of old emails.
Anyone have screenshots of their emails they feel like sharing?
Yeah i am giving up still no mail.
They may get sent out in batches, as I havenât received mine, but I did get it last month.
Also keep in mind that there could be more emails to send out this month after the level changes in PoGo.
