My visits were up 30% on last month, but my players were up over 80%!

One of the things that makes this report really great is when stuff like this happens. These were my numbers the first month of the email, back in October:

The numbers had steadily climbed up from that through last month , when they hit these levels:

A nice steady climb that I’ve been really proud of. Well, image my surprise when I opened this month’s email and saw this:

That’s… quite the bump up. :rofl: My best guess is that I added two Wayspots in adjacent cells, which both became PokéStops in PoGo, for an indoor skydiving place and a “luxury” bowling/mini-golf place that get a lot of daily traffic coming through, and visitors at each place are spinning both relentlessly. There’s a high-traffic Chick-fil-A right there that I believe would reach both as well, so maybe that’s also contributing. Still, I have just over 100 accepted Wayspots now, so it seems kinda crazy that a couple of those could triple my visits! Love that we have these metrics to be able to spot these sorts of things.

Not going to lie, I saw the email come up on my phone and when I saw the subject… I can’t repeat what I said out loud on this forum.

Excitement is an understatement. Now I get to make a new speadsheet!!!

Sorry to hear that you have missed out on the email. Let me see what I can do now. In the meantime, please follow the troubleshooting steps again (toggle off and back on).

This time I: Toggled off → closed the app. Reopened → toggled on

Settings toggled in:

Settings > account > Other > Email me events, offers, and updates.

You forgot to ask the all important Tech Support Questions…

  1. Is it plugged in.
  2. Have you turned the computer on?
  3. Have you opened your email app?

These are the important details in troubleshooting!

It was a happy cake day present.

You obviosuly thought “That’s nice” ….but it just sounded a bit different.

somewhat this month was outstanding. Sept - Feb were mostly the same with visits and players. The Raise between Sept and Mar is from 34k to 50k. I dont submit much - theres some other factor behind the raise. Also, February should have had at least more visits because of GoTour. Instead, Februar had less visitors than January which somehow isnt plausible (factoring the winter holidays into this - people usually leave in January to go to winter places)
