Hi everyone! There are no pokestops at my parents place so I decided to nominate some stuff that would be considered good. I nominated a religious alcove on a corner and was approved. Later, I nominated another alcove but got rejected because it was a wrong location, that was not true, even with street view you could prove it was real, so I appealed. Then, they rejected it but this time for being on private property even if it’s not. Mexico city space is not much, so people tent to donate part of their facades to make religious alcoves, most of these are pokestops but this one I nominated was, on my opinion, rejected for no reason.
There are not even other spots nearby on ingress or other games.
Welcome to the forum!
Please see this clarification on what counts as single family private residential property:
Even if the homeowners do donate part of their facades, it is still ineligible for Pokemon Go. If a Wayspot was accepted in a location like this, it was an error.
