Removal of a unique fountain

Hello!

A couple of months ago a unique waterfountain got removed as a POI. It was a POI for a very long time, but then it suddenly got removed. Because I thought this was totally unfair, I resubmitted it. It got accepted and was added as a POI again. After a couple of weeks though, it got removed again. I am wondering what the problem of this POI/fountain is. I have attached the screenshots of the submission below. Kind regards!

Supporting information: ‘‘A very unique fountain in Hoogkerk! The fountain is visible on streetview. I think it’s a very pretty fountain, and therefor a great POI!’’.

Sorry to disappoint you but fountains in open bodies of water fail the safety check so are not eligible. Please see the clarification on fountains below:

I do have to say it is a cool fountain :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Unfortunately reviewer sometime make mistake. When falsely accepted wayspot got approved, it can be reported by anyone who notice it.

Sad to hear! Not a big problem though as the area has enough POI’s to offer :smiley:
And indeed, a very cool fountain with some cool history!

Sometimes you can find a plaque on the shore that details that history, that can be a wayspot in itself though if that exists.

Looking at the area on street view there’s some seating looking over the fountain, that could be worth submitting as a scenic viewpoint.
