Hello! Thank you for reviewing my appeal. There has been a gym named “Time Is Precious” for many years on Broad Street in Stamford, CT. The gym suddenly disappeared about 1-2 weeks ago and I haven’t had the time to submit this appeal until now. Is it possible to restore the gym or receive a replacement nearby? Thank you for your time.

Looking at street view, the clock that is the focus of this wayspot was removed from its location outside Divina at some point between September 2021 and June 2023.

The most recent street view from July 2024 also shows that it isn’t there. Unless it’s recently been reinstalled and you have proof of this, then it’s unlikely that the wayspot will be able to be restored.

From what I can tell, this Level 14 S2 cell shows a sponsored Starbucks gym at 41.0535740,-73.5373310 on Campfire, which, in addition to these other two gyms on the Wayfarer map

Navigator Sculpture
Mashpee Petition 1751

would bring the gym count here to 3, so I would not expect a gym to replace the removed gym.

See A Comprehensive Guide to S2 Cells and Pokémon GO if you are unfamiliar with this algorithm maxing a level 14 S2 cell at 3 gyms. Sponsored gyms seem to take one of the slots when there are less than three.

Would be happy to be wrong.

Thank you, Hank and Cyndie! The clock isn’t there and it seems a replacement gym is not to be expected based on the cell rules. I believe that wraps this up.

Thanks for the appeal, @Waelie We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire this Wayspot.
