Additional Information (if any): This is a unique, individually designed signpost pointing to a book exchange box. Both are located in public space, do not obstruct anyone, and have been there permanently.
The book exchange box, which is very close by, was also a Gym (called “Büchertauschkiste”), which disappeared at exactly the same time – something I also cannot understand at all.
Please review the PokéStop (and if possible also the Gym/Arena at coordinates 53.0228630, 10.4195995).

I really hope both will be reinstated. There is genuinely no understandable reason for their removal.
I enjoy playing Pokémon very much and love exploring new PokéStops – something like this makes me really sad.
The location of the book library looks suspiciously like it is single-family private residential property (SFPRP), which means it is strictly not eligible. If something on SFPRP gets through community voting, and someone notices it and reports it, it will be correctly removed.
The sign looks like a signpost, which is pointing at something interesting. Signposts are not generally eligible, so if this has been removed, it will be difficult to get it returned.
Thank you for your prompt reply. The book exchange box is located in front of a property and is accessible from the public sidewalk. This has even been discussed with and approved by the local authority. I am sending further photos.

Auch wenn der Bücherschrank auf dem öffentlichen Grund angebracht ist? Daran, dass die ganzen Anwohner dort sogar ihre Mülltonnen für die Abfuhr aufstellen, ist das ganz gut zu erkennen. Durch den örtlichen Bücherclub weiß ich, dass es für beides sogar eine Genehmigung der Gemeinde gegeben hat. So wie ich es empfinde, sind das doch dann beides offizielle und öffentliche Dinge.
Danke für die Antwort. Die Tauschbox ist definitiv auf jeden Fall vor dem Grundstück. Sie ist vor dem Zaun mithilfe eines Pfeilers im Boden eingefasst. Die Gemeinde forderte nämlich ein festes Fundament. Die ist auch von diesem Grundstück aus gar nicht zugänglich (nicht zu öffnen), sondern nur vom öffentlichen Gehweg aus.
Sign: This is not eligible in itself, the sign can be used as an anchor for something that is eligible but the pin should be positioned at the POIs not the sign.
Library: Assuming that your comments are correct you “may” have a chance getting this re-instated. I suggest taken several photos of the library and its surrounding. This should confirm that the area it is located on is not SFPRP or attached to it.
Privatgrund (Niantic definition), hierbei wichtig, dass es völlig egal ist ob es genehmigt ist oder man rankommt, wenn es auf oder an einem.nicht erlaubten Grund steht, bleibt es unzulässig.
Auf Apple Maps kann man außerdem den Standort besser sehen:
Richtungsanzeiger (hier entlang zum Objekt) sind nicht zulässig, weil das Objekt ja schon der Wayspot ist. Das Schild solltest du nicht wieder bekommen, auch wenn es durch neu einreichen wahrscheinlich wieder akzeptiert wird.
Bei einem richtigen Wanderweg ist ja so dass der Weg repräsentiert wird durch den Marker als Wayspot quasi, zum Vergleich.
