Repeated rejection emails

I’ve been getting repeated rejection emails for some wayspots I submitted in September and October. Are old rejected submissions being reprocessed or old emails getting sent or? It’s a little disconcerting.

  • nomination originally rejected Sep 25, I received rejection emails again on Nov 5 and Nov 13. Interestingly, this one’s flag in the web ui changed from not accepted to duplicate. (A later submission of the same spot was accepted).
  • nomination originally rejected Sep 30, i got emails again on Nov 8 and Nov 13.
  • Nomination originally rejected Oct 18, I got mails again on Nov 4 and Nov 12.

Are you in California? There was a post about an abuse ring being dismantled there and submissions being reevaluated.

Will edit that post in when I find it again.

Just done a quick Google Maps search and looks like from the State of California.

Edit: I’m intrigued it’s just the rejections (so far). I went on a tear in one of our parks in September. But I’m proud of the ones that succeeded. Actually most were accepted by Emily so i guess a vote ring wouldn’t apply.
