Additional Information (if any): This waypot was removed today in Pokemon Go after existing for some years now. The little free library still exists, in fact it was recently replaced by a newer version. It was also moved to 45.639040, -73.504812 on the property line of the apartment complex, by the public sidewalk. This is clearly a mistake and our community would like it restored. Thank you.

This appears to be Single Family Private Residential Property. Do you have evidence for your appeal that it is not?

The issue will be determining if this is on the property of a Single Family Private Residential Property (SFPRP) or not.
The original location which is where it appears on street view is clearly on the property of a SFPRP.
The property next to it is a block of apartments. And something in the communal area of that property would be ok.
However your photo of the new library and location shows that it is out side of that property and still just on the property of the SFPRP.
If you do not think it is on that property but that of the apartments you are going to have to demonstrate that with evidence. Some more photos showing different angles so the wider view of the location can be seen might also help.

Thank you for the fast answer. It may look like it’s on a SFPRP but in fact it is located on a common lot between the apartment building and the house. (This is a former alleyway, very common in Montreal, which is still property of the City even if maintained by owners living adjacent to it). You can see the lot numbers in this screenshot taken from the municipality website, the box is at the red dot.
The box has been moved last year, clearly the google map picture was before that. I have traced its position in red in the following screenshot, about 2 feet from the fence. I have outlined the “common” lot according to the city cadastres. I could ask the owner to move it right on the fence line (blue mark) if that is what is required. Several families live around there (I am one of them) and have been benefiting from this pokestop for years now so very sad to see it gone.

That’s a strange plot layout, as it implies anyone can walk through those thin strips between plots and they are not trespassing on anyone’s property. In reality, I cannot see anyone would be OK with this.
There is also a garden fence across the middle of the thin strip between 6 606 109 and 1091 960 (if your red dot is where the LFL is). It is very hard to perceive this as common land despite this map of the lots.
It is indeed a curious situation.
These small parcels of land seem to have been adopted by the residents around this area. There are fences cutting off access and large permanent structures on those strips. I’m unsure what someone’s access rights would be - no idea about Canadian property rules.
Though it could explain why the telephone poles are located the way they are.
If you can provide a link to the official municipal website for the land parcels that will help the team to confirm.
I think some wide angle photos to show the situation now rather than rely on old streetview would also be helpful for your case. This will demonstrate the old site has gone and how and where the new one sits.
All of these will present a stronger case for the team to review.

It is best practice not to resubmit something that has been removed but to wait for a team decision.
