Since this wayspot is of a random piece of art inside a building (which I don’t think should ever have been accepted, but that’s a different problem), you may need to provide evidence that it no longer exists using photographs from inside the building.
I cannot see that an exterior view of anything is going to be any proof.
The pinned location is inside the offices of a travel agency (Kings Tours) who did not agree to a current GPS photo being taken inside their office. The submitted GPS photo is taken outside in the laneway as nearest as possible to the pinned location.
I appreciate that this not the “ideal” evidence for Niantic to make an informed decision to remove this wayspot
That’s awfully convenient. So you basically have no proof other than “trust me bro”.
Either take a picture of the inside or tell the company to file a removal request themselves. I see zero reason for Niantic to remove this based on what you’ve shown here.
How do you even check if the sculpture is no longer exist ? You need to a better convincing evidence than “you can trust me” statement. Just because certain wayspot is not accesible to you, doesnt mean it need to be removed.
Thanks for the appeal, @BunchOfCarrots Due to insufficient evidence, we’re unable to remove the Wayspot in question. If you have additional evidence to share, like geotagged images or photosphere, please submit a new appeal with additional information, and we’ll take another look.
Sometimes I have made a place of business aware that a Pokestop exists via email, and explained how they can reach out to Niantic to have it removed if they so desire when I am not comfortable with walking in and trying to take photos or find the right person to actually speak to. I am sure that you would be able to reach out to a place like this that way.
