Seeking advice on wayspots temporarily (or permanently) gone

A couple of days ago I noticed that at least six wayspots spots, in the form of various 4’ statues, were physically missing. Unsurprising since there are building refreshes going on in the area.

I reached out to facilities and they verified they are in storage and will be while the construction is ongoing. Their response said “through 2026”, so somewhere between six to 12 months, I guess.

But they also stated that the final disposition of the statues is not yet decided. They may go back, they may go elsewhere on campus, they may stay in storage for a while.

Should I wait a bit before flagging them? If so, how long? Or just do it now since we know it will likely be several months. (Of course, with my luck, the day after I submit them for removal, they’ll be installed some place else and should have been move.)

Examples:

I understand that you can request temporary removal whilst a place is under construction. This then allows for them to be reactivated once construction is completed and access restored.
Any follow up action can then be done at that point.
