Stop remove less then 1 week after creation

Hello, I had a pokestop that was accepted and visible in game but i was remove very quickly, in a few days. So considering this, could it be that it was in a zone where stop are not allowed ? When we propose a new POI, do we have a warning that it is in a zone not allowed or, if it not notified, does the proposition still is available for reviewing and not automatically refused ?

Best regards

Hello and Welcome,

We are just wayfarers the same as you, we can only advise on the possible issues.

If you could post the details of the wayspot (screen grabs from contributions + add the location) we can take a look.

Alternatively, wait for staff and hopefully they will be able to give more details.

If it did appear for a short time it does not seem like a S2 Cell Issue.

If it is “Geo Block” it would not have appeared unless the Geo Block was only just implemented.

The only other option I have is that someone reported it. Was it located correctly? Was it your own photos (not uploaded elsewhere)?

Good Luck

Usually if the land owner has requested that there be no pokestops in a an area then even if something gets approved there it will never show up in game. This sounds more like the nomination was in one of the banned areas and should have been rejected in review like at a school, adult services, or emergency services area. Someone likley saw it and reported it for being a hazard. If you don’t mind, what was the nomination and where was it located?

It was in France, maybe because of the school that is near it was flag later after the addition in game

This is graffiti which should not have been submitted or accepted. It was most likely reported for removal as soon as it was spotted live on the Wayfarer map. See the clarification on Unique Art

It also appears to be on the border of a school property, and not eligible that way, either:

Salut et bienvenue! Je pense que l’école maternelle n’aide pas non plus, au-delà de l’aspect vandalistique du graffiti. Tout ce qui est sur le mur extérieur d’une école où la majorité d’étudiants sont mineurs est inéligible. C’est donc un retrait correct pour au moins deux raisons différentes.
