Stops not approved

Why would you approve a place like top golf but not the other two places I sent in?? One was a restaurant and the other a public place and commercial landscape company? There are THOUSANDS of stops that are restaurants and other public places like these places of business. This makes no sense.

Hello and Welcome,

Please provide full details of the ones you got refused so we may help.

Welcome to the forum!

“Generic business” is a rejection reason. How did you explain that the restaurant and landscape company met any of the eligibility requirements of a great place for exercise, exploration, or being social? Wayspot Criteria — Wayfarer Help Center

You can show us screenshots from your contributions page if you would like to discuss the rejected nominations.

Welcome to the forums

Without knowing what it is, something called “top golf” might have been eligible under exercise criteria if it is an exercise facility. If it is simply a shop that sells golf stuff, that is far less eligible and it would make sense if this confused you.

A restaurant can be eligible under Social criteria, but they are hard to get accepted as most reviewers haven’t realised that people eating is often a social enterprise.

A commercial landscape company is very unlikely to be eligible, as it doesn’t inherently meet Social, Exercise or Exploration criteria.

Please have a look at these for understanding what makes a good wayspot.

This place clearly meets the criteria I linked in my original comment btw:

I have submitted similar places, too.
