Submission declined by automated process - any tips? Should I appeal?

Submitted this Little Library (screenshots below) in a neighborhood close by that got declined by the automated process. I read a bunch of other posts in this forum, and was wondering if it was rejected because of the Single-family private residential properties (SFPRP) boundary rule? This Little Library is not on any house’s immediate property - it is separated from the house by the sidewalk, and is right next to the street.

It is pretty far from the nearest PokeStop & Gym as well - 0.5 miles / ~804 meters away. Not sure if that is taken into consideration but thought I’d share that bit of info as well.

Please let me know your thoughts! I would like to try to appeal if possible.

Welcome to the forums

In some places, the private property can extend past the sidewalk right up to the edge of the road, meaning that the space between the sidewalk and the road is not necessarily public.

From the supporting photograph, this has the look of such an area, as several of these spaces have been planted up, almost certainly by the people living there.

Hello and Welcome,

Are you happy to give the location?

There is a set of “inclusion Rules” using cells but that should not be a problem with that sort of distances and we are getting ahead of ourselves…
