I moved into a no grid area and began walking/exploring to find anything and everything that could become a stop. Some went through but a lot went on a loooonnnnngggg wait list. Now 4 years later some of this stuff is just popping up left and right. Please explain. There is a low player base in this area and I am familiar with other players and they do not wayfarer.

Yes. I don’t submit fakes or things against the guidelines.
You know, I recall a long time ago they had to reassess a lot of stops because they were being invalidly declined by people. So niantic had to re-evaluate a ton of submissions for a second chance. Could this be part of that if they did it again recently? Either way I’m thrilled to go from no grid dead grid area to 15+ stops with 6 gyms. 1 of the gyms right next to my house 
Ah I understand now.
I think there may have been some where there was a problem with the submission and these were resolved as I have read other reports of a few “lost” resolving.
