Support chat is confidently wrong about a location edit request

So I asked help chat to move a wayspot based on a hiking trail node that was relocated due to the construction of a new bus lane that removed the sidewalk that part of the trail used to use. I provided ample evidence of its new location, like this screenshot of the trail network website:

Or this StreetView photo from August 2025 on which you can clearly see the pole with the green-and-yellow arrow signs:

So I would really love to know what evidence there is that leads help chat to believe that this wayspot doesn’t need to be moved.

I would like some eyes on this.

Hi, @GeneralSecura! Due to insufficient evidence, we’re unable to move the Wayspot in question. If you have additional evidence to share, like geotagged images or photosphere, please submit a new appeal with additional information, and we’ll take another look.

…StreetView isn’t sufficient evidence? Or the official trail map? Like, I’m not sure what you expect a geotagged photo to show that you can’t already see on StreetView.
