The holy crown of Hungary

There is a hill on the edge of our village where a stone crown monument-,the holy crown of Hungary, is visible. How would you photograph it so that it would be a good waypoint? The crown is only visible from afar or from high up. Can I use satellite images to show the environment? How would you make it a good waypoint.

For something like this, I would use a far away picture for the main photo, then support it with closer-up images. Or drone photography from above, if that were feasible.

I don’t recommend doing this: The Cerne Giant (50.813137,-2.475180)

It’s an equivalent feature. Someone posted the Cerne Giant at the location they took the photo, since it has the same problem of being difficult to photograph from close up.

Take as good a picture as you can from anywhere, then submit the wayspot at the location of the actual POI. Reviewers should easily understand why the main photo is taken from a distance away.

Great tip, thank you.

Thanks for your advice! Unfortunately, in the close-up pictures it only looks like a few piles of stones, I don’t have the opportunity to use a drone. But I’ll try to figure something out.
