There should be a pokestop in this cell

I got 3 approved waypoints near each other. Here are the names and the submission coords from the email:

  • Crossing the Stream (42.380113, -122.930413)
  • Twin Creeks Retirement Courtyard Pond (42.380108, -122.930151)
  • Fit-Trail Station 1 (42.380004, -122.930137)

I entered them all into pogomap at those coordinates (the missing ones as power spots):

(Twin Creeks Retirement is an imported power spot)

Of the 3, only Crossing the Stream is appearing in game. Here’s a screenshot of the area if I try to create a pokestop

As best I can tell from both the coordinates and the create pokestop screen, One of Twin Creeks Retirement Courtyard Pond or Fit-Trail Station 1 should be a pokestop. But neither are. And another waypoint that got approved several days later in another area is already a pokestop in-game.

Any ideas?

looking very closely at iitc with google satelite, and the create pokestop screen, Crossing the Stream is right on the boundary. Maybe I’ll go try editing its location so it’s definately in the cell it’s supposed to be in (west of the bridge). It should definitely be further into that cell than it appears in that screenshot

I only started adding pokestops after the scopely acquisition. I’m annoyed I missed when this was apparently easier

Be careful, only try moving a waypoint if it is definitely in the wrong location in real life.

Moving a waypoint from a correct location, even to another correct location is seen as Abuse and can lead to warnings / suspension from Wayfarer and the Games.
