Ive seen many Seflie walls suggested and it feels weird to label them as a mural or wall. Selfie walls are basically walls that are designed for people to take their picture in front of (think of those walls with wings or a “grassy” wall with a quote in a coffee shop). They are becoming more widespread and should have their own catagory since i wouldn’t consider it wall art.

I get the sentiment of having a category for common items.
I also emphasize that the categories are not indicative of what is currently acceptable or eligible.
While these objects do show an activity related to social interaction, it would still be a question whether the selfie wall itself is eligible on its own or a part of the restaurant’s feature that adds credibility towards eligibility.
Each selfie wall may have its own merits and uniqueness which will determine the end decision; also why decisions of each one may vary.

Well to some extent selfie wall have some artistic value. So better judge it case by case. Its same idea with gateway or place name sign

The categories aren’t from Wayfarer, but a 3rd party source. If you take a look, you’ll see there are plenty of categories that aren’t even eligible, like elementary school and cemetery. If you don’t feel that any of the categories listed meet what you are reviewing you can choose Other or a broader reason, such as just Art.
