This is my worst rejection so far

I know I had rejections in the past but this is my worst one. Why? This is a photo of the actual church. Sorry but I am a bit frustrated because that photo was an accurate representation of the outside of the church and it got rejected. Can someone please help me. I am new to Niantic as I only joined weeks ago.

If you are spamming the photo to add more copies of it to the Wayspot so you can add more likes, that could be considered abuse.

No. I would never intend to abuse. I was adding a completely different photo that represents the outside of the church:

Oh I get it. I have tools installed that show me the photo I am submitting instead of the photo that exists. I think maybe try a photo that includes the sign and the building. You have to admit that the photo of the building does not look like the photo of the sign.

If that is not possible, you can appeal a photo rejection the same way you can appeal a nomination rejection. We have 2 appeals, each on a 15 day counter before we can use them again.

I understand. I just feel frustrated right now because of the rejection. I can’t appeal either.

Where is that sign that is the current wayspot photo? Is it this one at the street?

So maybe it would be possible to update with a photo from this area with the church in the background, and then go from there? I can’t really get the angle right from street view, but something like that? The church doesn’t look very much like a conventional church, so I understand not being recognized as the same thing.

I understand. Sorry about my frustration. It is just that the rejection made me feel alienated.

I also cannot stand to get rejections, and I have hundreds of them. It’s part of Wayfarer. When you know what you are doing is right, you regroup and try again from a different angle.

Yeah. I am mature enough to go out to the field so I am going to take another one and try again.

Took another photo and submitted it. Been a hard time today but I am okay now.

I might appeal the other one one day but it depends.
