POI will not disrupt anyone and many kids will benefit from it. Speed limit is 30mph in the entire neighborhood and everyone walks on the roads and grassy areas as there is no sidewalks. Located along a popular neighborhood walking suburban trail. It’s a suburban community park. Sometimes deer sleep here.

What’s so wrong with this one,? Other players have told me it’s because they know it’s me who submitted so it gets downvoted. It’s a popular place in the neighborhood and way more frequented than other POIs I have submitted that got approved.
The main reason I keep getting is that it’s inaccessible but there’s always kids and people walking past it on a daily basis.
As the Niantic Note states, this appears to just be a simple sign.

Grass isn’t lava, so I think rejecting for pedestrian access is incorrect. However, I don’t see from what you have posted how this would meet criteria of a great place for exercise, exploration, or being social. You have at least tried to make a case that this is an “historic neighborhood” but I do not see any proof of that. The runoff issue has nothing to do with the estate sign. Watching fireworks from the clubhouse has nothing to do with the sign for the commons.
I don’t see the main photo you used. I googled the title and can’t find anything called exactly this.

Yes it’s all on the submission and I did not submit the sign itself, I’m submitting the whole garden as a POI as it’s clearly stated in the title that it’s the “Commons” not the actual sign. Which is why I describe what happens at these commons, not what happens at the sign. Other players know because part of the social aspect of POI is discussing with the community, while yes Pokemon Go is the main ingress game I play; I know POI can affect other games thus players from other games can downvote for their benefit in those other games.
So you found another space in the neighborhood that’s west of this one. People don’t hang out over there because it’s part of the golf course. This area is where the people in the neighborhood come as it’s not part of the golf course, please see all attached pictures. We’ve had floods and a tornado 2 miles south of there yesterday so nobody is out and about today.
This looks to be a beautiful area to live. What you have shared with us in the above photos is nice landscaping. But any more than that is very hard to tell. I’m not picking out any obvious areas where the community is likely to congregate for exercise or socializing. For example I can’t picture kids playing soccer as the areas don’t look big enough nor does it appear that families will grill or entertain in any of these spots (picking some examples of what I’d look for).
that being said it could be treated as a Signless park if folks do truly congregate there. You will need to really explain it well and take a representative photo showing the area.
I think you are unduly worried about local players maliciously voting on your nominations. As said before all nominations are anonymous. And they will be shown to a fairly broad pool of reviewers.
I think your energy is better spent on identifying potential wayspot(s) and writing up strong nominations. We love to help with that kind of thing.
I live in a town where people pride themselves on how many alternate accounts they have gotten the latest shiny so it’s very energy consuming to play by the rules here which is what I do and advocate for. I actually got tired of reporting because seems like niantic doesn’t do much about that as long as they get their money. I’ve literally sent pictures of one person in one car with 6 phones all running Pokemon go. Actually the reason my daughter stopped playing and I started submitting more POIs in my neighborhood rather than different spots in town.
Please share a screenshot of your contribution showing the main photo and description you used. we have seen the supporting but not that. The coordinates you pinned at can be found in the submission email after the photos if you still have that, since the ones you provided did not send me to the right spot. If you would like more advice on this nomination.
I think you keep confusing Pokemon GO issues with Wayfarer. Wayfarer has nothing to do with people catching shinies or people riding in cars using multiple phones. We are very interested in the rules of Wayfarer. But we cannot do anything about people violating the rules of Pokemon GO.
Yes I know. Kids ride their bikes here all the time, I used to too when I was younger. Dog walkers often hang out here or couples be sitting talking in this area all the time.
Thank you for sharing this screenshot. I am obviously not communicating well, because I still do not know what photo you used for the main photo for the submission. Unless it was the same photo that you showed us in the supporting section, which does not look like a commons area at all. I am sorry that I cannot help you improve this nomination.
The photo is just the sign for the place, I had other areas in the neighborhood approved with just the sign. One of them is actually way smaller and along the main road which makes it substantially more likely for someone to get run over. The only difference is, I didn’t tell anyone from my social circles about that one because it wasn’t as relevant of a submission.
I used to do all that on the pavement outside my house, I am old enough to have been able to play football on the road due to the low number of car ownership. None of these make a good nomination
When thinking of the 3 big criteria… Social, Exercise, Explore look what encourages these not just what could happen.
I “could” run up some steps “Rocky” style for exercise.
An Outdoor Gym “encourages” exercise.
If you really think something here “encourages” at least 1 of the criteria then you need to show evidence of it. Words are not enough.
What you could see from this location means nothing, it’s what “this location” actually does / encourages that counts.
This is not true. This is a neighbourhood estate sign, not a monument. It is not dedicated to anything. These things are not dedications, but place names.
It is extremely likely that it is on the wall of a single-family private residential property which would make it strictly ineligible, even though it is on the outside of the boundary.
