This submission was rejected by niantic's automation process for not following Wayfarer's criteria

After the end of the challenge, some Wayspot submissions were rejected with the above. I don’t know why.
I think it’s a candidate that can be approved normally.

  1. A guide map to the public parking lot at the entrance to the park. This is a public parking lot in a large building at the entrance, which has two to four floors above the ground, and is accessible to anyone who uses the park through a safe sidewalk. This means that the park is big.
    → In Korea, information signs in public facilities, residential areas, tourist attractions, and parks have been approved and Wayspot has appeared.

  2. There are eight cycle racks. Similarly, there are a total of 16 cycle racks along a large building (public parking lot) at the entrance of the park. One cycle racks are common on the road, but I’ve never seen one in Korea where there are several cycle racks lined up. I thought they were attractive enough candidates because they are in the park.

  3. As a safety rule for the stadium, it is a large tennis court managed by the local government and is installed so that anyone can see it. It was rejected for the same reason.

I think it was rejected because Emily automatically reviewed it without the actual reviewers confirming it, but I wonder if the above candidates can’t be Wayspot’s candidates.
And I thought, “Is Emily also trained for a particular country?”
(On the contrary, Korean judges reject famous cafes and restaurants in areas other than franchises as general companies, but these days, I see Wayspot candidates that have been approved and appeared. I don’t know if it was approved as an objection, but..)

1 and 2 don’t sound eligible. Parking lots are pretty indistinct, and they serve the purpose to park a car; they aren’t really great places to be social/exercise/explore. Maps for a parking lot meet none of these, so even if they have been accepted in the past, they just don’t meet the 3 main criteria. Just because there are maps for other places as Wayspots doesn’t mean all meet criteria; a map of a hiking trail would encourage exercise and exploration, but a map of a parking lot doesn’t encourage anything but find out where you can park your car.

Bike racks can also be pretty indistinct and very generic. Even if it might have a unique design to you, it may be common in other places around the world, although being lined up side by side isn’t really a design element. Typically, the only way that bike racks are acceptable is if they have an artistic design; for example, there are a set of 5 bike racks in my downtown area that spell out the city name in American Sign Language.

As for 3, you may need to provide screenshots so we can try to figure this one out. A tennis court is a great place to get some exercise, and maybe be social as well.

Thank you again for your quick and good response every time!
Other than me, some users say they’ve been turned down by Emily, and I’m wondering if something like a large-scale rejection has happened like last time.

I thought it was possible because there was a sign in the parking lot in front of the big park, but I understand what you mean!

Bike racks are a bit of a bummer.. It’s not a normal steel rack and it was amazing because there are so many racks. I understand what you’re talking about in this area as well!

In case of number 3, I thought it would fit me well. The tennis court was too big, so I applied for a separate tennis court. I also applied for a safety rule sign in front of it, but it’s a little disappointing that I couldn’t go to the screening and was rejected right away..

And they used the upgrade to get a quick evaluation, but it’s useless lol;;

Thank you again!
