Not sure if this a bug report per se, however this doesn’t seem to be expected behaviour.
Title edit suggestion was accepted by the community on 14th of March, and although I know there was a big gap in syncs around this time I’ve watched entire POIs go into the system since.
That is the correct name (my edit) but this only shows on the Wayfarer map, and not in game on Pokemon Go. So they no longer match since the edit was accepted and added to map.
There is an open pub (with a beautiful mural) at this location, called Bees Knees, which is open according to google maps. The previous pub, Chasers Bar, has closed down.
Renaming this from Chasers Bar to Bees Knees has been seen as repurposing, which is not allowed. The correct process is to submit a wayspot for Bees Knees, which should be an extremely easy acceptance.
I’m not going to argue over the rules - they’re clearly there for a reason - but it’s a shame this decision went this way given I have local knowledge to the contrary of what’s been said here.
Unfortunately although in the UK we regard a pub as Pub and a place to socialise and place the emphasis on the location rather than the business it is not the stance that the Wayfarer Team has. If in this case it was a simple refurb and rebrand by the same group then a case could be put to see if it could be altered.
However it is clear that Chasers was a completely different set up and the bees knees is being run by a different group - adore the mural.
So we have to go with the removal and a fresh submission for bees knees which should I would fully expect to be accepted as it is on street view and a link to the website.
