Tons of POI on Wayfarer map but not ingame

Hi guys,

I noticed in my future holiday area are tons of POI on the Wayfarer map, but they’re labelled as “not in the game”. Due to my past experience with POI in the database but not in the game, I assume that the “not in the game” POI will be considered as duplicate once I’d try to submit them on regular basis.

How can this problem be solved? I’m very familiar with the mechanics, how a gym or Pokestop gets visible ingame once submitted by trainers. But that’s existing data that no player submitted to the database (not labelled as “submitted by community”) - how to turn it active to use in the game?

If the wayspots are submitted by trainers and not Niantic it is possible that they is a “Property Owner Request” in place to refuse them.

It might help us understand the situation if you gave a general location.

this flagging is not common practice here in Germany. Especially not on the “countryside” where majority of property owners not even know about all this AR gaming world. And here in Germany, private property isn’t as holy as it would be e.g. in the US.

And all these I checked don’t have the “community submitted” tag, so no idea where NIA even got these data from.

use these coords to reach the area of “Inzell, Germany”:
47.762410, 12.748590

With the map they seem to be an import from Niantic for possible use as Dynamax Powerspots.

Although these do not have to follow the same rules as submitted nominations any that are eligible can be nominated.

These imports will not be shown to reviewers therefore they will not cause a “Duplicate”.

Remember that adding as stops / gyms could remove some possible powerspots.

Good Luck.

These are just imports that Pokémon GO uses them for Power Spot rotations. Those eligible for it will get their turn. They do not need to appear all at the same time, nor is there anything that isn’t working correctly here.
