Two nominations accepted but not visible

Hello, i recently had two nominations accepted, which appear correctly on the map, but not in Pokémon Go. I was wondering if there’s a specific reason for this, if it’s just a matter of time, or if they simply won’t be in the game for some other reason.

Here are the locations (white dots) :

Note that in the first screenshot, the nomination is very close to the war memorial, but it should be a little further to the right, a few meters further away, i don’t know if it will change anything to specify it but there you go.

There is already a gym in this L17 S2 cell.

I understood about the first one, but I’m having trouble understanding the second one, even though i read your post from the link :sob:

What don’t you understand? Maybe the satellite view background will help.

Since “Ponton en bois Sud du lac” is being used as a gym already, no other Wayspots in that cell will be eligible to be a pokestop or gym. Both of those unused Wayspots are far enough away to be eligible to be included in the Power Spot pool rotation at some point. One of them could also be promoted in the future if the current gym is moved or removed for real life reasons.

If a Wayspot is in the wrong place, you can still correct the location through help chat. Go to https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help and look for the text box to pop up

A bot will take information, then a human will get back to you with an answer. They reply in the chat box, not by email. You can give them evidence that the move needs to be made, like geo tagged photos, if it is not obvious on the map.

Oh, okay, i understand better now, i was referring to the circle, that’s why.

I tried to get the nearby terrace/restaurant accepted as a PokéStop, but it’s been rejected for now (probably bad photos or not enough/description). In theory, if it’s accepted, it won’t be in the same cell and potentially displayed ?

These are the only two L17 cells occupied near there, so yes.

Here are the L14 cells. Those are the ones that determine gyms.

The numbers in the center of the L14 cells are how far away you are from getting another gym.

My standard disclaimers when I talk about S2 cells: this is community observation, not something Niantic acknowledges. And NEVER be tempted to pin something where it isn’t to make it show up in game. Niantic will punish that as abuse. Only use this knowledge for planning where to look for points of interest.

Thank you, i understand everything now, so ideally, to get another arena i should try to get the restaurant accepted, or find another nomination to make in that cell with “1” written in the center ?
