I recently nominated a wayspot that had an unfortunate typo in the title that I did not notice until it was in voting. The wayspot was approved and is located at (36.095722,-80.192662). I’m deliberately not typing out the title as it probably won’t get past a word censor. Image is attached but may get removed.
I live more than 50 miles from the wayspot and have no plans to be in the area anytime soon so cannot submit a title edit request through the game. So, I contacted support for help. Their response was to tell me how to submit an edit in game. Maybe that’s the textbook correct response but it is not helpful and implies they did not read my request.
Can someone on staff please help? The title for the wayspot should be corrected to : “Salem Lake Dam Dedication Stone”. Thanks.

I had to read that a couple of times …
Staff may pick up on it in here, but I would try help chat with the explanation you have given and see if they will make the change.
There is no obvious choices in the initial stages, so it might feel uncomfortable but once submitted it does go to a human.

That was how I contacted support, through help chat. Their answer was to submit an edit in game.

And because of distance restrictions to submit pogo edits you can’t of course do that. Oh dear.

I would leave it as it is…. every time someone spins that stop, they can say… “Well I be damned” and move on….
But on a serious note, hope someone who lives near that nomination fixes it for you.
