Unfair graffiti removal

  • Wayspot Title: Enjoy Graffity
  • Location (lat/lon): 49.804521, 73.088887
  • City: Karaganda
  • Country: Kazakhstan
  • Additional Information: This graffiti has been on this container for several years (more than 5 for sure). The container is located at the rear of the shopping complex. The graffiti is an advertisement for a coffee shop inside this shopping mall. I highly doubt that if this graffiti were illegal, it wouldn’t have been erased or painted over within five years. Moreover, this graffiti was restored and still looks good.
  • Despite this, Wayspot has been deleted. I request that this Wayspot be restored, as it was deleted in error/without justification.

upd: Even by the change in size of the tree to the right of the container, it is clear that it has been standing for a long time.

I personally would use the term “mural” rather than “graffiti” as graffiti usually means unauthorized and therefore temporary.

For me For me, a “mural” is something done more professionally/more discreetly/more detailed. Here the street art is more free-style, which, in my opinion, is typical of graffiti. This isn’t my nomination. This Wayspot has been around for a very long time, I don’t even remember when it first appeared. But it was deleted a couple of days ago.

Thanks for the appeal, @DenialN1! After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to restore the Wayspot in question.
