My nomination for the main entrance of a university (“Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi” in Rome) was just auto-rejected by the Niantic machine learning filter.
I would like to ask for your insights: why do you think the AI flagged and rejected this nomination?
Here is the context: it is a higher education institution (a university), which makes it a great place for learning and socializing, and fully eligible under the criteria. I specifically mentioned this in the supporting information to clarify it is not a K-12 school.
Do you think the automated filter simply got triggered by words like “studenti” (students) or “università” (university) and assumed it was a primary/secondary school? Or could there be something in the photo/location that triggered a generic rejection?
