Amount of time. How come the one time
I use an upgrade this stop has been in que 5 times as long as all the others?
An upgrade does not prioritize a nomination, it actually opens the nomination up to a larger pool of reviewers. So if people aren’t as familiar with your area the votes may not skew towards an accept (or reject) as quickly.
An upgrade will not send a nomination immediately into voting, but when it does go into voting, a wider review pool will see it. That usually means that you will get a faster decision, but not always. Decisions are naturally resolving so quickly here these days that I rarely use one anymore. If it hasn’t moved after a week, I will apply one.
Upgrade is especially useful if you are located in remote area with few reviewer. By getting wider review pool, it should get reviewed faster.
Alternately there are various way nomination can get longer. Some reviewer might skip nomination in grey area even after upgrade so it might felt similar than nomination without uograde
It seems you submit 2 nomination from same area, Community observed that when we submit multiple nomination from same area, only one nomination can go into review at one time.
