Very frustrating experience trying to get ONE pokestop in my entire community. Continual (incorrect imo) rejections

if you would rather not reveal your location, you mention these are apartments. communal spaces meant for socializing are definitely eligible, as you can see in this clarification:

Whether they would be eligible to become a pokestop or gym would depend on the S2 cells, but this might give you an idea of something to look for.

Well, I’m going to address the other issue. Your source may claim this is an artifact of pride for African Americans, but that is not the context most people associate with these statues. If this were being nominated at a civil rights museum where the proper context was explained, I might understand approving it. But as a lawn ornament that is owned by a private individual, there is far too much racial controversy around this image/statue to approve for inclusion on the Wayfarer map.

I would have this removed if it was approved.

I had to look this up, but this looks like a “lawn jockey” - Lawn jockey - Wikipedia

These might be perceived as being racist caricatures although that’s arguable, however the fact that they are arguable would likely lead to them being rejected or deleted at a later date. At best it looks like a broken lawn ornament and not a statue. And I know this point has been made several times but it’s really essential: the proposed wayspot needs to be in the supporting photo - if it’s difficult to see in context you could highlight it (take the photo first, circle the object and then upload it as an existing photo).

It’s not owned by a private individual. It’s just been left there on my apartment grounds and clearly for YEARS since it’s so worn down. a) historical and culturally significant b) permanent and c) publicly accessible

Mod Edit: Removed misinterpretation.
